Theme of Loss
Because the foundational idea of tinyfunerals.org was born from serving “tiny” groups of people who desired closure from tragic circumstances (typically in my pastoral and addiction work), I want to offer a package for the sake of closure around specific losses. The fundamental idea is to have a remote, wild, and beautiful place to process what you desire closure in from an event in your life that you did not ask for. An example might be after sharing what you enjoyed most about a lost friend or loved one or even, we can name those traits and put them on a stone in a beautiful place in remote surroundings. This closure could include but is not limited to grief from significant loss, coming to terms with a change you "never asked for", or loss of valued relationships. This is in no way to make light of tragedy to advertise instant healing, rather bring light to the beauty to a story that needs further eulogy and ceremony. This Service, in my opinion, is most effective if there has already been some to time to grieve the event.
The “Theme of Loss” package is a ceremony-based healing approach. At the end of our trip, we would engrave on stone what you’re seeking closure in and send the stone to the bottom of the sea. As an alternative, we could have a campfire-burning ceremony in a beautiful location. I would send with you the ashes in a bottle to spread or use as a keepsake. The trip would include morning reflection over coffee, a picnic (lunch provided), and your choice of recreation as well. The day is all yours and I will custom-tailor it to meet your needs. The adventure would typically span 8-10 hours. Your journey towards healing matters. I would be honored to collaborate on a trip that invites a new season of change.
*I ask a two-person minimum. This helps pay expenses of utilizing vessel fuel and gear. I offer 1 day or 2-day packages.

Payment and Cancellation policy:
Payment of the balance of the total trip price must be received at least 90 days prior to the start date of your trip. Cancellation of a confirmed reservation must be made by you in a written notice delivered to the email or mail address samuel@tinyfunerals.org Such notices shall be effective upon receipt. Refunds shall be calculated on a per person, per trip basis and are limited to amounts previously paid and which remain after application of same to the non-refundable portion of the total trip price. The amount of refund will depend on the date of cancellation as defined below:

120 days or more prior to start date 100% of trip price
90-119 days prior to start date 75% of trip price
60-89 days prior to start date 50% of trip price
30-59 days prior to start date 25% of trip price
0-29 days prior to start date 0% of trip price
